Sunday Dinner is important because, amid today’s growing food crisis, it offers more than a meal — it’s a space for nourishment, connection, and cultural care. It keeps our community fed, loved, and reminded that we thrive together.

For Nu Indigo Nation, community care means collective healing in action; meeting our people’s needs with love, dignity, and reciprocity. It’s how we build self-sustaining futures and carry on our ancestral practice of caring for one another so we all rise together.

Nu Indigo Nation is a holistic community organization dedicated to cultivating safe, thriving, and self-sustaining futures for Black and Brown youth and families. Through interconnected initiatives in art, education, finance, and wellness, we provide the tools and resources that empower our communities to heal, thrive, and lead.
Our mission is to equip our community with tools for success, inspire a culture of wholeness and wellness, eliminate barriers to literacy and opportunity, and foster environments where young people can imagine and build brighter futures.
